About ASL

The Advanced Semiconductor Laboratory (ASL) was created by Prof. Tae Geun Kim in March of 2005 after joining Korea University in 2004. The ASL focuses on developing new functional devices using advanced electrical and optical semiconductors.

Life in aSL

In terms of the lab itself, we work with each other like a family unit. In terms of external relations, we also treat others with sincerity for creating a harmonious learning atmosphere.
In ASL, we not only strive to improve our knowledge, but also focus on self-improvement and common decency.

Furthermore, the professor always puts himself in his student’s shoes and leads the group on the road to success. Moreover, the group camaraderie is strengthened through group activities such as hiking, skating, etc. We also organize various sports including tennis, football and basketball to enhance our physical and psychological health.
